With love, Drew’s parents
We wanted to share our hearts with you all as we embark on this next part of our story. Drew has been with Jesus for about a month and a half, and I am not sure we could miss him more. We miss his soft skin, hand squeezes, and his feet kicking against our hands. We miss his strong little personality that we got to witness for 36 days. We miss the love that we 3 got to share every day. We know that he is still with us in our hearts, but this separation from him does not get easier.
We are very excited to share the next part of Drew’s story with you all. As we look back on Drew’s life, we reflect on God’s faithfulness and all of the miracles that took place, and we can hardly wait to share that hope with other families. It does not mean it will give them the winning ticket, but it means maybe we can share our story and give them hope in something far bigger than ourselves or any medical professional.
So as we prepare this foundation, we are praying for God’s favor and blessings over it. We pray that God will be glorified in everything The Drew Heart Foundation does, and that through this, more people will come to know Jesus and put their hope in Him.
We are so proud to be Drew’s parents, and until we can be with him and Jesus in Heaven, we are going to continue to share all the Lord has done for us, and all He wants to do for you!
With love,
Drew’s parents
Because, Miracles.
This is the starting point of The Drew Heart Foundation 501c3. Meredith and Anderson have bravely decided to share about heart disease and how it impacted their little boy Drew of 36 days.
Read more about Drew’s story. Because of generous donations made in honor of Drew and because Anderson and Meredith and the entire family had a front-row seat to see God perform miracle after miracle, they have decided to share this hope, their love for Drew, and how he inspired many to walk closer with God — to follow Jesus, they have decided to encourage, share, pray with, and tell of his story, and the story of how Big Our Father God is — even when it’s hard.
Thank you for being a part of this with them.
May God bless you, right where you are, whether you are on a mountaintop with Him, or you find yourself in the darkest of Valleys. May Our Father God wrap His arms around you and fill you with His peace, joy, love, and purpose.
